Food-grade rock salt, washed and optically sorted, naturally rich in 84 minerals
Edible food-grade pink rock salt, washed and optically sorted, naturally fortified with 84 minerals.
Our Himalayan pink salt is sourced from the mountain ranges of Kalabagh, where the rock carries naturally occurring pink, red and white hues — an indication of its rich nutrients and natural fortification with 84 minerals. We wash rock salt from its raw form through to semi-finished stage; multiple washing cleanses the salt of contaminants and removes lead and other chemically harmful deposits, making it safe and fit for human consumption. The salt is then optically sorted on ultra-sensitive hi-tech sorting machines so no grit, stones or foreign particles remain. It is supplied unprocessed and pure, with no anti-caking agents.
The grades of himalayan pink salt we produce and ship. Any specification outside this list can be produced to order.
Popular with confectionery and snack food makers — adds a distinctive touch to crisps, biscuits and baked goods.
The best mineral-rich replacement for common table and cooking salt; crunchy particles dissolve on the palate leaving a savoury taste.
Widely used with handheld crushers and table grinders for fresh-cracked salt.
Any grain or particle size custom-produced to buyer specification, packed under your own brand.
Our pink salt comes from the mountain ranges of Kalabagh, where the rock carries naturally occurring pink, red and white hues — the visual signature of a mineral profile that includes trace elements absent from refined table salt. Nothing is added and nothing is bleached; the colour you see is the rock itself.
Because the deposit is ancient and sealed, the salt is free of the microplastic and industrial contamination increasingly found in sea-harvested salt. What it does carry from the seam is grit and mineral debris, which is why processing matters as much as sourcing.
We wash rock salt from raw through to semi-finished stage. Repeated washing cleanses the salt of contaminants and removes lead and other chemically harmful deposits, making the product safe and fit for human consumption rather than only decorative use.
The washed salt then passes through ultra-sensitive optical sorting machines, which reject grit, stones and foreign particles by colour and shape. The result is an unprocessed, pure salt with no anti-caking agents, ferrocyanide or free-flow additives of any kind.
Different channels need different grain profiles. Confectionery and snack manufacturers take super fine; households and food service take fine as a mineral-rich replacement for table and cooking salt; grinder and crusher programmes take coarse in 1–2 mm or 3–5 mm. Any other particle size can be produced to order.
We supply in bulk for repackers and under private label for retail brands, including grinder-ready packs, refill pouches and gift formats.
Both are available, but the salt described here is edible food grade. It is washed through multiple stages to remove lead and other harmful deposits and optically sorted so no grit or stones remain.
